Thank you very much for the video!! Even weeks into learning Russian I still had problems pronouncing this word, you broke it down well. Спасибо
Я ещё не работаю, но я студентка и я учусь в университете здесь в ОАЭ is it correct?
да, отлично! Я ещё не работаю, -но- я студентка, -и- я учусь в университете здесь в ОАЭ

Can you slow this down you went a lil fast in this video. Sorry I'm an extreme beginner 😭😭
Yeah, it’s a short, and shorts here are limited to 1 minute only. I suggest you check out the full lesson: ruclips.net/video/76Zqi9to-yc/видео.html
RUclips is not letting me like your videos!?!? I've done an update so idk if that maybe why but some I can push the thumbs up and others I cant?? But I try to like all your videos when it allows me to!! Thanks for the lessons. I like these shorts.
Can you explain why you use different ending when your age ends in certain numbers please?? Thank you
It’s called “declension” and “cases”, grammatically. In Russian, you use Nominative singular with 1, Genitive singular with 2, 3, 4, and Genitive plural with the rest.
Спасибо!😊

What if its at the end?
The woman in the short didn't explain the whole deal with the ь and ъ, I think because it's a part of the bigger video. But basically we also use them as a sign of the softer/harder sounds in some words. In words like подъезд ( common staircase area of the apartment building) it is equivalent to an apostrophe, but in words such as соль (salt) it indicates that the л sound in the end is soft
@@this_Kwazicatit’s because of a misconception that soft sign and hard sign are similar (which is present in russian as well). They are not. Ъ is used EXCLUSIVELY as separation indicator between a prefix and the rest of the word, only when you need to separate a consonant and the rest of the word that starts with iotized letter. It used to have other usages, but not anymore. Ь is different story and far more complicated. It’s probably all explained in the bigger vid you mention (there’s a link to it above the description of this short).
♦️ Ъ used to be written at the end of some words, but not anymore: ruclips.net/video/76Zqi9to-yc/видео.html ♦️ Ь at the end of a word just makes the previous consonant Soft: ruclips.net/video/76Zqi9to-yc/видео.html

Right! From what I know, Russian and Korean have the same set of 10 vowels
@@RussianComprehensive They're extremely similar indeed 🥰
большое спасибо! Your videos are short and to the point so again, many thanks ❤

Ah! Thank you for explaining this in a cultural way. My husband is Russian, and I am learning the language and culture. As an American, it was very interesting to learn why things are celebrated ~after~ instead of before it happens. (If it can’t be celebrated at the proper moment) Like birthdays, promotions, etc.. It hasn’t come to fruition. Why celebrate, or jinx it?
